PAGE SIX SECTION ONE- Five Projects In Baptist Training Program Sunday Elimination Meeting: Is Scheduled In Cor inth Church One of the highlights of the training program of the Baptist Churches in the Chowan Associa tion is the elimination meeting for the five annual projects to he held Sunday afternoon, April 17, at 2:30 o’clock, in the Corinth Baptist Church near Elizabeth City. In this meeting representatives from the churches of the associa tion wall take part in the hymn fes tival, adult Bihle reading tourna ment; young piople’s better speak ing tournament intermediate sword drill, and the junior memory work drill. Representatives will he de termined to go to the Regional Trai n in g Union Convention in Windsor on April 22 to represent the Chowan Association. If these participants are successful there they will lie ipiulified to go on to the State Assemblies this summer to participate in the State Elimina tion for State honors. The hymn festival will he con ducted by Mrs. F. A. Cuthrell; the Billie readers tournament. Will he conducted by the Rev. A. C.
