Perry entertained at a 6 o'clock dinner on Sunday, November 11, honoring Mr. and Mrs. Burwell R. Winslow, the former Miss Alvis Perry. The din ing table was centered with an ar rangement of white gladioli and pink roses. Covers were laid for ten. Mrs. Winslow was honored with a kitchen shower on Tuesday night, November 13, given by Mrs. D. H. Berryman, Mrs/yMcCoy Spivey and Mrs. Curtis Chappell at the home of Mrs. Berryman near Hobbsville. The home was decorated through out with arrangements of mixed fall flowers. The table vat cover ed with a outwork cloth and cen tered with an arrangement of white mums and lighted candles. Mr. and Mrs. Dillard Morgan Jackson entertained with a buffet supper at their home in Hertford, Friday night, November 16, hon oring Miss Alvis Perry and Bur well R. Winslow before the rehear ANTIQUES —AT— BYRUM’S GIFT SHOP Edenton, N. C. sal of their wedding on Saturday. The home was lovely with arrange-, ments of fall flowers and lighted candles in silver candelabra. The buffet table was decorated with an arrangement of white mums on a white satin foundation and center ed with a wedding candle to’be burned on each anniversary. Guests weds invited to the basement .play foort to await supper. Covers were laid for 40, which ineluded members of the wedding party and out-of-town guests. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Milam en tertained members of the wedding, party and out-of-town guests at their home in Sunbury following the rehearsal of the wedding. The home was beautifvflly decorated in pale pink. The living room mantle wag centered with an arrangement of pink mums entwined in two pink satin wedding bands. Ifi the den | Was a tiny fountain with floating carnations. The dining room table was centered with a pink, satin cov ered heart entwined with pink snapdragons flanked by lighted pink tapers in silver candelabra. The pale pink tiered cake was cut; by Mrs. Conroy Perry and punch was poured by Miss Johnnie White. Others assisting in serving were Mrs. Hunter Morgan, Mrs. Bernard Hofler and Mrs. Sidney Hofler. Mr. and Mrs. 'Bernard Hofler en tertained the members of th e Win slow-Perry wedding party with a Wedding breakfast at their home near Hobbsville Saturday morning at 11:30 o’clock.
