Wood to be used as a herring roe canning factory. HONEY PRODUCTION IN COUNTY LOOKING GOOD ( Honey production looks very good for this season, according to County Agent C. W. Overman. [Beekeeping Specialist W. A. Stephens spent Thursday of last week with Mr. Overman visiting ( beekeepers, observing colonies I and advising on management. Most beekeepers had harvest ed or had ready for harvest two or more supers of surplus honey per colony. In plainer words, this means 60 or more pounds of honey or 20 or more quarts of honey per colony produced this season. George Bunch, Jr., of the Rocky Hock community appears to have the heaviest production. George had three colonies, each of which had about five supers of surplus honey. FIDELIS CLUB MEETS The regular monthly business meeting of the Fidelis NCO Wives Club was held in the game room of the Staff NCO Club at 3 o’clock, June 4. Mrs. Camillia Driver and Mrs. Betty Lemon were recognized as guests. It was decided at this meeting that the family picnic would be held at the Old Timers Club on the base Saturday afternoon, June 29 at 2 o’clock, base time. Fidelis member will bring a pic nic lunch for her family. Ice cream and cold drinks will be fur nished by the club.
