Boy Scout News] By BfLL GOODWIN V There was no meeting of Troop 156 this week because of the ex aminations at the local high school. But all Scouts in the fifth and sixth grades had the oppor tunity to come out to the Scout Cabin Monday night and work on advancement. The last two Scout meetings have been taken up with busi ness concerning the re-registering of the Troop. At the last meet ing Scoutmaster Jack Habit draft ed some volunteers to carry Belk- Tyler’s circulars. This is a pro ject that Troop 156 has had for some time now. This month’s activities have been on signalling and learning Morse code. Next month is Boy Scout Week month and big things are planned. THE CHOWAN HERALD, EDENTON, NORTH CAROLINA. THURSDAY.
