New officers were elected for the Officers-Wives’ Clirty at their last meeting on June 4. The names of the officers will appear after the installation ceremony in July. . , -'s' Mrs. Pat Fiynn and Mrs. John Barnette, entertained at a farewell , coffee in hohor of Mrs. Robert -Braymaier at the Flynn home on Tuesday, June 17. About 20 guests were present. The wives of 211 held their monthly coffee at the home of Mrs. Jo McCaffrey on Wednesday, June 18. Mrs. Clarence Baker was co-hostess with Mrs. McCaf frey. A special' welcome was ex tended to the new wives in the squadron, Mrs. M. L. Crowdis and Mrs. G. H. Keller. The Rev. and Mrs. Hale Eu banks of Fallbrook, California, visited last week in the home of 'Chaplain and Mrs. Matthew Cur ry in Westover ’Heights. Misses Dianne, Melissa and Karen Ross and Miss Susan Kel ler -entertained at a baby Shower for Mrs. R. C. Jordan, Jr., on "Wednesday, June 18, at the Ross home. A. Davis en tertained at a farewell cocktail party in honor of Major and Mrs. Robert Braymaier on Sunday, June 22 .at the Davis home. Dr. P. J. Chaplain and Mrs. Boris Geeza and children, B. G. and Helena, of Bainbridge, Maryland, visited last week in the home of Chap lain and Mrs. Matthew Curry.’ The Officers Wives’ bridge club met on Friday, June 20, in the Fireplace Room at the Officers’ Club. Mrs. Pat Pike served as hostess for two tables. The next bridge meeting is scheduled for July ll' with Mrs. Robert Noble as hostess. NAAS welcomes Major and Mrs. Macklin who come to Eden ton from Quantico, Va. Major Macklin will be attached to H&MS. Lt. Col. Charles Boggs left Friday, June 20, on two weeks leave. San Francisco, Keddie and Los Angeles, Calif., will be his visiting points. Major and Mrs. Robert Sin claire and son, Bobby, of Cher ry Point, visited last week in the home of Major and Mrs. G. H. Mrs. McLean is Mrs. | Batdorff’s sister. Both families plan a trip to Nags Head for the coming week-end. The Officers Wives’ Club will hold a box lunch at the base pool at 1:30 P. H. Keller and children, Susan and Robbie, will spend this coming week-end visiting with Mrs. Keller’s par ents, Dr. and Mrs. R. B. Brown in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Keller plans to attend a reunion of her high school graduating ■ class in Waynesboro. Master Ted Feldmeier celebrat- ’ ed his thirteenth birthday on 1 Tuesday, June 17. He and his friends swam at the base pool and then enjoyed dinner together at the Officers’ Club. Dr. and Mrs. R. C. Jordan, Jr., will leave Edenton Friday, June 27, to attend the wedding of Dr. Jordan’s sister, Miss Lu Ellen Jor dan, formerly of Edenton, in Eliz abethtown, N. C.
