Her home always seems to be ready for visitors or group meeting, al though outside help is used only pnee a week. AH in all, she is a well-liked, industrious young woman who is vtry conscientious about the wel fare and happiness of her fami ly. Hanlon is the Station Mess Administrator and has ser ved in the Marine Corps since September, 1956. The Lieut, at tended Boston College, Chestnut Hill, Mass., and makes his home in Roslindale, Mass. A propensity to hope and joy is real riches; one to fear and sorrow, real poverty. —David Hume. 4-H CLUB ENJOYS SOCIAL The Cross Roads Local 4-H Club enjoyed a swimming party and weiner roast at Hare’s Beach Friday afternoon, August 8, at 5 o’clock. Everybody arrived hot and tired, ready for a swim af ter which everybody came up with a big appetite. Robert S. Marsh gave a dem onstration of water safety, how to use the life preserver and also a demonstration on artificial respiration, with the aid of Johnny winborne. Mrs. Roland Evans, local leader, with the assistance of a few other 4-H parents, planned and supervised the group. There were 27 people pres ent, also Miss Aman, assistant agent. There were visitors from Mississippi and also Paul Mil ler, an agriculture teacher from Pennsylvania, and Buddy Belch of Tyner.
