For Loans By Gl’s World War- II veterans have an approaching deadline in 1960 which marks the end of their, GI loan privilege, Veterans Ad-| ministration said. July 25, 1960, a little more than a year from now, is the cut-off date for veterans of World War II in making appli cations for GI Joans. VA said if the application is made before that da'te, the ve't-i eran still will have one year, more, or until July 25, 1961, to have the loan deal completed. Korean have consid erably longer before their GI loan rights expire. Their dead-: line for application does not: come until 1965. VA said Korean veterans have lalso an important deadline af fecting their GI training rights 1 and each Korean veteran has a different deadtline. For eadh one the final deadline comes eight years from the time of his dis charge. This is a final cut-off affecting; training rights, VA pointed out. A veteran must actually com- 1 plete his GI training or educa-, tion by that time, since no furth er training can be -authorized as-j ter the individual's cut-off date. Korean veterans also have a j deadline for commencing their; GI training, Which is three years from the date thev were dis-i Charged from active service. VA said full information on, these cut-off dates and details of all GI benefits may be ob-; tained from anv Veterans Ad ministration office. Classified Ads GUM TROUBLE causes most tooth loss.
