Band Parents Chicken Supper Held Saturday Sponsored by the Edenton Band Parents Association, a barbecue ohicken dinner will be held Saturday night, January 23. The dinner will be hold from 6 to 8 o’clock in the John A. Holmes High School cafe teria, but plates will also be delivered to any who so desire. Dail reports that during December Edenton police made 33 arrests,! of whom 30 were;found guilty as charged. Those arrested in cluded 12 white males, 6 white females, 13 colored males and 2 colored females. Fines. amounted to SSOO and costs $355.60 s or a total of $855.60, of which $237.75 was turned back to the town in way of officers’ fees. Activities during the month included 59 calls answered and investigated, two accidents in vestigated, four funerals work ed, 19 courtesies extended, 21 doors found unlocked, two fire calls answered, 29 lights report ed out and 615 parking cita tions Issued.
