be conducted in our office at

conduct the training school.

and Nutrition Project Leaders.

New Method For
Air Force Recruits
According to Sgt. Jimmie
Skipper, local U. S. Air Force
recruiter, the Air Force has ini
tiated a new personnel “Quality
Concept” in Air Force procure
ment. This has brought about
many new changes in local re
cruiting procedures. These
changes affect every young man j
and woman desiring to enlist or
obtain information concerning
the Air Force.
Sgt. Skipper states that a new
method of testing is the great
est change. Previously all per
sonnel desiring enlistment in the
Air Force were required to take
a thirty minute screening test in
their hometown, and uoon pass
ing were forwarded to Raleigh
for enlistment. The aptitude
test was not given until the in
dividual was in basic military
training at Lackland Air Force
Base, Texas. Now, each airman
applicant takes the aptitude test
in Elizabeth City which deter
mines his best aptitude area: the
results are used-for training and
assignment purposes. This new
method lets the applicant know
this aptitude capabilities, his pos
