Carolina Employment Security Commission office in the
Citizens Bank Building.

Fire Calls In April
Fire Chief W. J. Yates reportsi
that Edenton’s firemen answered;
a total of 13 fire alarms during'
April, six being in Edenton and ;
seven out of town.
For 'the Edenton fires the fire-1
tnen were out four hours and 50
minutes and five hours out of
town. They were on the uir 50 j
seconds in Edenton and a minute'
and 10 seconds out of town,]
and traveled 15 miles in Eden-.
ton and 80 miles out of town.
In Edenton. 1,300 feet of hose
