Everyone was glad to ! welcome her in this club. , Mrs. Paul Ober gave an in i spiring devotional, reading Mat thew 5:1-12, followed with pray er by Mrs. Lester Harrell. The meeting was conducted by Mrs. Willie Saunders. A report of the Council meeting and fashion show was given by her. Mrs. John Layton gave a home beautification report on azaleas and camellias. She told the members that camellias do best in a well-drained and par tially shaded location and' pro tected by a wind-break. After 'the business, a most in teresting demonstration was giv en by Mi-s. Travis Jackson on “Working and Playing Together As A Family.” Corinne Justice Grimsley said, “The best place in the world to learn how to get along with other people is in your family life. 'Big houses with fine furnishings are not ne cessarily happy homes, for it is the people who live in the house who create 'happiness.” During the social hour Mrs. Paul Ober led in recreation.
