Negro Home Demonstration News ■r ms. OMNI* ft. CUgIION, Oeeatr Meet* Dee Inmbln Afoat The 4-H Ciubs of the county] will observe' 441 Church Sunday; on June sth, at Center Hill Chapel Church. The Rev. Clyde Beatty, rector of the St. John's The Evangelist Episcopal Church, Eden ton, will deliver the ser mon. We invite all 441 Club members, parents, leaders and friends to attend the service. Why W« Observe 441 Church Sunday The spiritual development of the individual is essential to a full, well-rounded life of ser vice to the community and to the nation. During these criti cal times it is more important than ever before to recognize that in this development the church plays a large part- Therefore, it seems most appro priate that 4-H members set aside one Sunday during the jfear as 4-H Sunday. 1. To enable 4-H members to think together about home, oonv community, and world events in spiritual terms. 2. To develop in 4-H members a better understanding of the re lationship that people of the. soil have with God. 3. To provide 4-H members an opportunity to participate in a service that develops the Hem H. 4. To help 4-H members to demonstrate thetr loyalty and to realize their own responsibilities to the church of their choice. 5. To show 4-H members how their church can provide Chris tian fellowship, helpfulness, bet ter understanding, a religious outlook, courage, and harmoni ous living.
