The Rev. George B. Holmes, rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Edenton, officiated and was assisted by the Rev. Samuel F. Gouldthorpe, rector. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a prin cess style gown of ivory peau de soie with a portrait neckline and short sleeves of Alencan lace embroidered in seed pearls. ' Her bell shaped skirt formed into a panel of cascading roses which fell into a cathedral train. She wore a mantillo style full length Rrussell’s veil and carried a cascade of gar denias and stephanotis. Miss Mildred Douglass Mapp of Accomac, Va., was maid of honor for her cousin. Other at tendants were Miss Caramine Kellam, cousin of the bride, and Miss Patricia Wescott, both of Belle Haven, Va, Mrs. Charles Prioleau Scott, sister of the bridegroom, of Greensboro, and Miss Diana Arneson DeVerc of Morganton, N.
