Approximately 800 4-H Club members were given this wel come by our District Negro 4-H Club Agents, Mrs. Helen W. . Branford and W. C. Cooper, “Ever since the beginning of 4-H Club work, changes have been ’ occurring.” In recent years, i however, with the advancement lof technology and science the | changes seem to be coming fast |er than ever. It is in this spirit that the gen eral theme of our educational mork for this year’s conference is “Career Explorations.” We hope that as you go through this con ference you will become more conscious of the need for making a decision about what career you would like to follow in future service to yourself and people around you. We believe that club members have a great opportunity to ex plore and experiment during their club career. This should help 4-H members make a vo cational choice for adulthood.
