The report below was writ

The annual home demonstra

on July 30. We visited J. W.j

Swansboro, N. C. It was the |
first trip for- most of the dele

impressed with what the 4-H
camp offers the young people.!
Far one day we saw the camp
in action.
There were 145 4-H'ers there
that week. Fifteen of this
group were from Chowan Coun
ty. Other counties camping that (
week were: Richmond. Bertie,,
Gates, Warren and Perquimans.
For most of these children, it
was their first trip to camp and,
when we asked them what they
thought of camp, neither one!
hesitated to say "I am enjoying,
it and want to come back nextj
year.”
The facilities at camp include!
eight cabins, four for boys and 1
four for girls: a bath house fori
