All of the school clubs met last week and the topic of Health Improvement was the program for the month. A skit entitled "Pokey and Perky” was given by members of the pro gram committee. The skit brought out the importance of practicing good health habits on a personal, family, and com munity level. The health pro grairi was outlined on the coun ty and state basis and informa tion on selection of the Health King and Queen was given. Health Improvement Record books and guides were given •ut. A demonstration entitled “Choose a Good Breakfast” was. the highlight of the community 4-H Clubs this month. This pro- 1 verb by "Yogi Behr”' helped set the stage for the discussion: “If you’re floggin’ your noggin for an ‘A’ every day, here’s a clue, j hey 800 Boo? The ol’ brain j works best when you feed it a good breakfast”. The fact that breakfast should ' provide from Vi to 1/3 the total day’s food needs for the body' was pointed out.
