ership in Home Demonstration

during the past ten years.

The Chowan County YMW
Club held its Annual Banquet
Monday night at Robin’s Restau
rant and it was a most enjoy
able affair. Turkey and the
trimmings were served buffet
style. Small talk and dancing
made the fellowship enjoyed, one
which will long be remembered.
This club is open to young
men and women throughout
Chowan County. The next
meeting is scheduled for Decem
ber 5, at Robin’s Restaurant, 8:00
P. M. It would be nice for you
to join them.

Aces See Baltimore
And Packers Play
An Edenton group traveled in
a catered, ,-bus.. ttkjfetjtimore
Sunday, where they witnessed a
professional football game be
tween the Baltimore Colts and
Green Bay Packers. The group,
guests of Joe Mitchener, includ
ed 31 members of the Eden
ton Aces’ squad, two coaches and
five guests.
The group left early Sunday
morning and held a Sunday
School lesson on the bus while
enroute to Baltimore. They wit
nessed a very thrilling game and
I all were very much delighted
and thankful for the trip.
