Both the Aces and Aceiets won o/ei cnowan' in the season’s opener. Hertford has had no such luck as the local teams. Both their boys and junior varsity dropped two games to Elizabeth City and once to Washington. The Hert ford girls have yet to taste com-, bat. The Acelets lost just one mem-1 bet- from last year’s conference; champions, but she was all-con-i ferenco guard Norma Blanchard.; Nettie Lassiter has come along to take Blanchard’s place along] with returning regular guards!
