The president, Alex Kehayes, has been inspired to believe that there are poor and needy people among all races re gardless to color or creed. In strengthening good human rela tions among all races of peo ple in the area; he has used his influence to spread the meaning of the Empty Stocking Fund to people other than those who are members of the St. Paul Episco pal Church. So, for the first time Negroes have been invited to make contributions to this very worthy cause. It is quite evident, that as long as Eden ton can produce far-sighted youths, with a deep sense of hu man relationship among races, and a warm spirit like young Kehayes has. we are sure to have a fine town. Through the motivating action, and friendship of Mr. Kehayes, I William Reeves learned a great deal about the Empty Stocking Fund organization. The] organization is affiliated with] the church. At the present time, Kehayes is its president ! Its purpose is to help spread) joy among the poor and the needy at Christmas. Over the years, much of its contributions have been used to spread joy at Christmastime among needy' own 40 ftodppmes When Quality Counts - Count On Our Meats! U. S.
