postgraduate course in medicine
which began in Edenton Wed
nesday of this week was Dr.
Robert Lawson. An afternoon
and night lecture was presented
at the Edenton Restaurant.

There will be a meeting of the
Elizabeth City Chamber of Com
merce Traffic Committee and the
users of the Norfolk Southern
Railway in this area Tuesday
evening, January 17, in the
Elizabeth City Chamber of Com
merce offices.

of Hertford and Edenton are be
ing asked to bring anyone from.
their respective towns who may
be interested in this matter.

est meetings which will be held
during the year. Mrs. M. T.

President, presided. Devotional
was given by Mrs. C. W. Over
man, Byrd Club, and Colonial
Club fcerved refreshments. Forty
persons attended this County
