Barbara Jordan Weds RJL Hal, Jr. Wedding Is Perform* ed In Church at Ballard’s Bridge The marriage of Miss Barbara Anne Jordan and Ralph Roland Hall, Jr., took place December 18 at 4:00 P. .M., with a double ceremony in Ballard’s Bridge Baptist Church. C. j Given in marriage by her fa , ther, the bride wore a gown of peau de soie, which featured a bell skirt and a chapel train.- Her elbow length veil of illu sion fell from a circulate of seed pearls. She carried an orchid f arrangement on her white Bible. I Miss Pat Bissette of Chapel Hill was maid of honor. She wore a Christmas red velvet dress and carried a cascade 1 bouquet of white chrysanthe mums. The bridesmaids were , Mrs. Betty Jordan, sister-in-law of the bride; Mrs. Jackie Dixon, sister of the bridegroom; Miss Janet Faye Hendrix, cousin of the bride, and Miss Shelby Jean Howell The bridesmaids wore dresses of emeralded green vel vet and carried cascade bouquets •of white chrysanthemums. Mr. Hall was best man for his son. Groomsmen were George Jordan, brother of the bride; Willard Hall, Bobby Hall, broth ers of the bridegroom, and C. T. Dixon, brother-in-law of the bridegroom. A reception was held in the Chowan Community Building. The couple are making their home in Norfolk, Va. Mrs. Wallace Hobbs of Whaleyville, Va., was mistress of ceremony.
