Another feature of the day will be at 3:30 o’clock, Friday afternoon when Omoff will make a “blind-folded drive” down Broad Street, starting at the George Chevrolet Company. Nathan Owens, project chair- 1 man, states that tickets for the show can be purchased from Jaycees and firemen and also at the door. All proceeds will go to the Edenton Fire Depart ment for use of purchasing res cue equipment. New TV Program Is Scheduled April 7th Residents in this area are in- vited to watch the premiere showing of a dramatic new tele vision series, “Medicine in the 60’s”, presented by Hospital Care Association of Durham as a public service. Commissioners Will Meet On April 4th Chowan County Commissioners will hold their April meeting Tuesday morning, April 4, at 9 o’clock. The meeting was sched uled for Monday morning, April 3, but was postponed until Tues day due to the observance of Easter Monday. Because Superior Court will also begin Tuesday morning, the Commissioners will meet in the i office of Mrs. Evelyn Williams, County Accountant, on the sec ond floor of the Court House.
