S. Siavang erfjord. after an extended visit with her son and daughter-in law, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Nielson in Edenton. It was the first time in 21 years Mr. Nielson had seen his mother, who was very much impressed with America during her five month visit. Mr. and Mrs. Nielson have two daughters, Ingred and Gail, and a son Kurt. They are former residents of Tyrone, Pa. Mr. Nielson is employed by Seabrook Blanching Corp. The family mo tored to New York to see Mrs. Nielson ofi on her voyage. Curtis Hughes and Joyce, Jo Ann and Rudy of Moyock; Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Annual Varsity Club Banquet On April 25 Edenton’s Varsity Clui will hold its annual Sports Awards Banquet Tuesday night, April 25, at the Masonic Temple be ginning at 7 o’clock. The-principal speaker will'be Jack Boone, head coach at East Carolina College. Dr. Richard Hardin is chairrrfan of the ban quet and promises a very inter esting program. Parrish would be a candi date for Mayor, he spiked' these rumors Tuesday of this week when he filed for re-election as a member of the Board of Pub lic Works'.
