Home Demonstration Club wo

a special project this year. Each
club will be responsible for
learning about one country rep
resented in the United Nations.
“Each club will pick a coun
try and find information on ag
riculture, art, costumes, customs,
education and other related sub
jects in the country,” reports
Miss Rose Badgett, home eco
nomics agent. “They will get
a map of the country, make a
flag, try native recipes, enter
tain foreign students and. make
exhibits pertaining to the coun
try.
Approved Reading
Miss Katie Lou Merritt of
Sampson County intends for the
club members to read books on
the approved reading lists for
Home Demonstration Club mem
bers. As educational leader, she
has made copies of the approved
reading list for all members of
her club.
