Colerain. The couple are mak

June 30, to celebrate her six
teenth birthday, which was on
July 4.
Two hundred fifty guests were
invited to the Chowan High
Schoo) gymnasium, which was
decorated in red, white and blue
with streamers, stars and flags.
A highlight of the evening was
releasing a huge cluster of bal
loons which was suspended from
the celling. \
Later the guests were invited
to the candle-lit refreshment
table. It was beautifully deco
rated with a four-tiered birth
day cake which followed the
red, white and blue color motif,
red and white gladioli and tiny
flags. They were served indivi
dual cakes, mints, nuts and
punch.
From there they were guided
by tables on which Jo Ann’s
lovely gifts were displayed.
