fll -***»Vy 6 Ye Must Be Bom Again’ By TERHY JONES - If an unsaved person came to you and asked you how to enter the kingdom of Heaven, R what would your answer be?' There are too many people in our world today who carry the name of Christian who would simply say, “turn over a new leaf, or live a better life by go ing to church regularly.” These false doctrines are literally send ing unnumbered souls into an eternity of torment daily. Sa tan is doing a splendid job of enticing mankind into the flames of Hell. How is he do ing it? He’s using people who claim to be Christians who couldn’t give God’£ plan of sal vation if their life depended on it, he’s using even some so-call fed preachers, he’s stirring in the middle of many religious de nominations. What is the out come of all tjiis? Many people ,are becoming mixed up. Many are kicking religion aside with the idea that they are doomed for Hell anyway, so what’s the use. These are the outcome of all the false beliefs or false doc trines that infest our world. I think we can become straightened out if we turn to the truth, and the truth comes frdrh but one source*—the Holy Bible, and from the words of i the Bible’s favorite character,! the Son of God, Jesus Christ. J Jesus told Nicodemus straight! stuff, He didn’t butter it up.i Jesus looked at Nicodemus andi said, “Ye must be born again.”! Jesus didn’t say we should be! SOU CONSERVATION NEWS By JAMES H. The September 1 State aver se yield of lint per acre is estimates at 338 pounds. This* * is 44 pounds above the average V fob, last/year and is Only two f pounds than the ( 10-yew average. - , Alas! regardless of their doom, little victims play! Jk> sense have they of ills to ■ * “coaae born again, He said **Ye must be born . again.” (John 3). Just what did the Son of God mean by these stirring words? Jesus went on to explain in the third chapter of the gospel of John, that He (Jesus) must be believed on to inherit eternal life. Surely, you, as you read this column must believe in Jesus, but the believeth Jesus was speaking of means to be lieve on Him as your personal saviour from sin. This doesn’t mean to merely let the thought pass through your mind, but to believe in Jesus so much that you actually trust and rely on Him as your saviour from sin. and damnation. Once you have| allowed Jesus into your life youj will automatically be “born! again”. Not just to make a few* resolutions but truly to be born* into the kingdom of God for ever. When you have trusted Jesus as your personal saviour you will be a new born baby growing and striving to seek the will of God in your life. I dare you to ask yourself the question at this moment, “Have I been bom again, or am I trusting in my own beliefs about my salvation.” Remem ber the words of Jesus in John 14, “I am the way, the truth, I and the life: no man cometh j unto the Father, but by me." 1 Won’t you give your heari and ! life to Jesus —now, do this and I you will be a new born child !of God —today. i 2:00 P.
