Keeping younger
than your years
The gift of enduring health
should be guarded above all other
treasures. And one of the best
ways to do this is to work in close
co-operation with your physician.
The science of medicine, these
days, is concentrating on making
life simpler and more rewarding
• for those in their later years. Your
doctor will have many helpful
suggestions.
And when you have your Doc
, tor’s prescriptions be sure to bring
them to this “Reliable” pharmacy.
We can fill your special needs
without delay. And at the right
price, too.

Aces Prepare To
Meet Strong Foe
Meet Frederick Mili
tary Academy Fri
t day Night
i With two victories tucked un
der their belts, the Edenton
Aces are preparing to meet what
is expected to be one of their
' toughest foes of the season Fri
' day night. Their opponents will
| be the Frederick Military Acad
emy with the game to be play
ed on Hicks Field beginning at
3 o’clock. 1
Little is known about the
strength of the Virginia outfit
I but speculation is that they will
:be a strong team composed of
many boys who have had previ
ous experience on high school
teams.
The Aces showed considerate
improvement last Friday night
when they boiled over a big
Roanoke Rapids team 14-6.
Coaches Bill Billings and Billy
Hardison are this week polish
ing .off the Aces and expect
them to be in good shape for
the contest. |
The Edenton band will be on
I hand to furnish music and en
tertainment at half time.

the new 1961 Lilliston Peanut Combine
Everyone who has agrees it’s the best yet. Among the
features causing the most comment are:
□ the new separator design that means cleaner pea
nuts
□ the new cylinder head that will get the nuts off the
vines with much less power than ever before.
□ the new chain design —a 1961 Lilliston exclusive
that insures longer, trouble-free service
□ the new draper system that actually adjusts auto
matically to maintain proper tension
There’s a lot more to talk about in this new Lilliston
Combine. Come in as soon as you can so we can show
. you exactly what we mean.
