Begins Crusade In Safety •t Employees of Maola Milk and Ice Cream Company have be come ambassadors of safety as they joined more than 30,000 members of the dairy industry in the United States and Cana da in Crusade Child Safety. The crusade is a month long campaign sponsored by the milk and ice cream industries as a part of their continuing effort to protect children from motor vehicle accidents. According to . Kathleen R. Barnes, president of Maola Milk & Ice Cream Company, with main office in New .Bern,-each of the company’s 140 drivers has pledged support fdr the campaign ahd has taken a spe cial safe-driving course. Driv ers will wear campaign badges affirming their pledge and will preent copies of the pledge to their customers. / The crusade will emphasize heed for alert Idriving by all motorists.
