City Jackets Clash Friday Continued from Page 1, Section 1 ring to Jim Epley, Don Math ews, Heywood Spruill and Ron nie Dail. Epley is an excellent runner and dangerous passer and both Mathews and Spruill are powerful and fast runners. Dail is their best runner, be ing both fast and shifty. Bob by Brockett and Don Saunders are the best linCfmen. The Aces, barring injuries in practice, are in good shape for the fray and they, as well as Coaches Bill Billings and Billy Hardison, feel that Friday night’s game will be probably the toughest on this year’s schedule. While no predictions have been made by the coaches, they feel confident the invading Yellow Jackets will meet a tough little Edenton team able to provide enough opposition so that the Yellow Jackets will know they were in a football game. The game, with favorable weather, should take on the as pects of a college game. The crack Elizabeth City Band will accompany the Yellow Jackets to Edenton. and., the Edenton- Band, too, will be on hand to help add color and entertain ment for the large crowd of spectators expected to see the two arch rivals play their best I in order to come off the victor. 41 JAILED IN SEPTEMBER Jailer Bertram Byrum reports that 41 persons were placed in the Chowan County jail in Sep tember.
