Hollowells Observe Fiftieth Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Hollo well were honored at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Worth Spencer Sunday afternoon when a re ception was held in observance of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Hollowell. The reception was held be tween 2 and 4 o’clock when over 100 friends called to bring pres ents and offer their congratula tions. Mr. and Mrs. Hollo well were united in marriage in 1911 by Mr. Hollowell’s brother, the late Thomas Hollowell, who was a justice of the peace in Chowan County. The wedding ceremony was performed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Bass in the Rocky Hock section.
