Richmond Ford sales district.

the Edenton Chamber of Com
merce who appointed last week.
Dr. Richard H. Hardin, former
flight surgeon with the United
States Navy from 1947-50, as
chairman of the newly formed
Aviation Committee of the
Edenton Chamber of Commerce.
“There is a distinct trend,”
Conger said, “throughout the j
country in this air age for in
dustrial parks to be created ad
jacent to airports. A great deal
of interest has been generated

truck driver figured in an auto-

morning in an accident which
j occurred about half a mile west

| The accident was Caused when
j Rountree attempted to pass a
| Chrysler driven by H. M. Ayers
of Everetts, Mr. Ayers was
taken to the Martin County Hos
pital at Williamston. but Roun
