PAGE TWO orb • Girl Seoul And Brownie News * - r _ / The High School Girl Scout Troop met Tuesday, November 27. A new program chairman, Judy Mills, was elected. Troop Librarian is Bonnie Conger. Al so discussed were Tenderfoot rank requirements, badges and last .minute plans on the Christ mas parade. ALYSON WARD, Reporter. The Girl Scouts of Troop 8 met December 3,1962. The scribe called the roll and read the minutes. Then we gave out parts and practiced our Christ mas play. Lynnette Davenport and Jean Tribou served us re freshments and the meeting was dismissed. AMY O’NEAL, Scribe. Brownie Scout Troop No. 6 met Tuesday at the Parish House. When we got there we :said our promise then we sang our Scout song. Then we had refresh ments. Then we learned how to march. Then we went home. JOAN RICKS, Reporter. Edepton’s Girl Scout Troop No. 2 met Monday, December 3,1962, at the Parish House. President called the meeting to order and told the secretary to ctall the roll and read the minutes. Then we had the flag ceremony. We then drew names to see who would buy a Christmas present for some one. Then we played a game. After that we were ser ved refreshments by Dabney Forehand and Ginna Jones. Then we went home. GINNA JONES, Secretary. Enterprise Group Will Hold Christmas Party The Enterprise community de velopment organization will meet tonight (Thursday) at 8 o’clock at Zell Ward’s cabin. At this meeting the annual Christmas party will be held, so that all families of the com munity are urged to attend. FIREMEN MEET TONIGHT Edenton firemen will hold their monthly dinner meeting tonight (Thursday) at 7 o’clock at the .ire station. Fire Chief W. J. Yates urges every fireman to be on hand.
