month were $3,761,000 as jobless-1
ness passed its seasonal peak and
dropped to the lowest point re
corded for any March in the past
11 years,

day that an average of 44,131
persons filed claims with the
State last month for unemploy- ,
ment insurance or 4.6 percent
of the insured labor force.
