Gives Voice Recital
Edenton friends will be inter
ested to know that Pat Mooney,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. B.
Mooney, former Edentonians now
living in Raleigh, gave a voice
recital Sunday in the auditorium
of St. Mary's Junior College.
Miss Mooney, who will graduate
from Broughton High School in
June, is a voice student of Ger
aldine Cate at St. Mary's.
Recently Miss Mooney was
awarded a four-year scholarship
to Converse College at Spartan
burg, S. C.
In 1963 she was chosen the top
performer in the high school
division of , the Southeastern
Regional Auditions sponsored by
the National Association of
