Student Homeroom Assignment Made At John A. Holmes High School
Homeroom assignments for
the 1965-66 school term at
John A. Holmes High School
were released this week by
Cecil W. Fry, principal.
There were 426 students
registered in the seventh
through 12th grades at the
time the assignments were
made.
School begins Wednesday,
September 1 and all students
will report to school at 8:30
A. M. They are to go to
their homerooms and will go
through the schedule for half
a day.
On the first day, Principal
Fry said students will re
ceive their books, get class
assignments and pay fees.
In accordance with a new
Board of Education policy,
there will be no fees for
seventh and eighth grade
students other than insur
ance, which is optional for
each student. Fees in grades
nine through 12 will remain
the same as last year.
