Mrs. Mary Cowper was Tax Report By Sheriff fioodwin Sheriff Earl Clooclwin ha' collected more than $156,000 of the 1065 tax levy. The sheriff, who-doubles a county tax coHeetor, report ed to county commissioners Monday that collections dur ng November amounted to <40,482.49. He reported col lections of $106,710 for Oc tober. ‘•December is usually the best month for tax collect ions,” he told commissioners who inquired about progress in this department. The 1965 levy is $433,193.41 The sheriff also reported the collection of $3,000.44 in delinquent taxes during thd month. . Added to this was $296.11 in' penebies for taxe due back to 1956. The sheriff ' reported pick ups l of SSB 48 plus penalties of $39.80.
