Missionary Deal travels up
and down the; Colombian de
partments of Bolivar and
Cordoba, preaching, teaching,
counseling, and offering ad
vice on everything from
health problems to agricul
tural methods. His field in
cludes the historic seaport of
Cartagena (his headquarters*,
as well as the jungles of the
River Sinu Valley, where
travel is by jeep, horseback,
and canoe.
In addition to supervising
Baptist work throughout the
two deoartmen’s. he has
been full-time pastor of Pen
icl Baptist Church, Cartagena
since its organization in De
cember, 1981. He recently
started a mission in Santa
Maria.
He and his wife direct the
Colombian Baptist orphanage
in Cartagena, which cares for
12 children, some already
teenagers and others soon to
be.
The adult choir will bring
special music.
The pubiic is invited to at
tend.
The nursery will be open.

Churchwomen of Saint Paul’s
Church, Edenton, Tuesday.

Mr. Pritchard, under a
Wates-Seabury Exchange, is
Vicar of Holy Trinity, Black- .
pool. This is one of the,
largest parishes in the north '
of England with a population
of 8,000 and three churches.
The parish has a staff of
Vicar, three Curates, and a
Church Army Sister. Black
pool is the main vacation
center in England and caters
seven million people on va
cation each year.
