The sun was bright, the wind just right
For fishing in the sea.
Each angler sat there in the sun,
Waiting and hoping patiently.
Then, each one reeled their lines like mad,
Only to be harassed,
By catching Blowfish . , . two at a time,
Until fishing became a task.
But in spite of that, we caught a few,
Os the fish we like to eat
Which gives us hope for another day
Os fishing at the beach.
We went to the beach
this past weekend just to
enjoy the salt air and the
peaceful surroundings but,
of course, we could not re
sist the temptation to do a
little fishing —gets in the
blood somehow. We really
enjoyed it, but catching
those horrible blowfish,
two at a time, was almost
too much for me. How
ever, catching a mullet and
a spot now and then al
most made up for 10 times
as many of that ugly blow
up fish.
On our way to Nags
Head Friday afternoon late,
we passed the curb market
ir. Columbia. We had
passed there before, many
times, hoping the market
would be open, but it
seems that Friday even
ings is the time for it. We
did buy some cookies,
which were delicious, but
had we been on our way
home, I'm sure we would
have purchased one of their

This past week seemed
almost like my birthday or
Christmas, as so many nice
things ' happened. One
friend brought us some
tender, fresh asparagus,
one of my very favorite
vegetables. Then, another
friend gave us some home
made butter, which we
would use all the time if
it were available. To top
it all off, Mr. B. took me
to the beach for the week
end, which rounded up a
wonderful week. But then,
each day and each week
seems wonderful since I’m
feeling so well.
