The bride is the daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfonzo H. Williams. The bride groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll R. Wil liams, Route 2, Hertford. The vows were heard by Revs. C. J. Andrews and R. L. Bame before a back ground of palms, white gladiolus and mums, and branched candelabra with lighted white candles. Miss Caroline Wright, or ganist, and W. H. Mathews, Jr., soloist, provided the wedding music. The bride, given in mar riage by her father, wore a formal empire A-line gown ot Alencon lace accented with pearls, and silk or ganza over peau de soie. Her chapel length, lace trimmed veil fell from a crown of pearls. She car ried a satin and lace-cov ered Bible topped with a white orchid. Mrs. Gilbert Riddick, sis ter of the bride, was the matron of honor. Misses Be a Skipsey, Sharman Taylor, Harriette Williams, sister of the bridegroom, and Jan White were bridesmaids. Miss Linda Riddick, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Mr. Williams acted as his son’s best man. Grooms men were David Williams, Steve Williams, Gilbert Riddick, Wayne Chappell and Charles Woodard. Vic tor Lamb and Eddie Wil liams, brother of the bride, served as acolyte and spe cial ushers. A reception was given by the bride’s parents in the church fellowship hall following the wedding. Arrangements of palms and glads were used in the reception hall. Lighted candles, fern and small flowers were used on the table. Wedding cake, punch, nuts and mints were served. The bride chose a navy ensemble trimmed in white with navy accessories and a white orchid lifted from her Bible. The newlyweds left for a trip to the moun tains. They are making their home on Route 2, Hertford.
