Services Held For Mrs. Ross Mrs. Patti Berta Ross, 68, | of Miami, Fla., died Wed- j J nesday in Mobile, Ala. Mrs. Ross was a native |of Laural, Miss., and was the widow of Sam S. Ross, Sr. She was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Idella Berta. Surviving are two sons: Joseph A. Ross of St. Simons Island, Ga., and Sam S. Ross, Jr., of Co lumbia, S. C.; a daughter, Mrs. Paula Rodrequez of Miami, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Tom Walters of New I Orleans, La.; 11 grand- j children and one great-1 grandchild. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Edenton and the Eden ton Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. The Ross family former-1 ly lived in Edenton. Funeral services were! held at 11 A. M. Saturday in Williford Memorial Chapel with Rev. Warren Nance officiating. Burial was in Beaver Hill Ceme tery.
