change in reporting meth
ods is designed to reduce
the time needed to change
addresses and process other
information having an ef
fect on payment of month
ly benefits. The change is
prompted by the increased
capacity of social security
district offices to transmit
the information over high
speed communication cir
cuits to record offices.
In addition to address
changes Alford said that
events that affect receipt
of monthly social security
checks include employ
ment, marriage or remarri
age in some instances, di
vorce and death

In the ladies’ first flight

Layton - Hobbs match is
scheduled this week also.
Bruce White won by
forfeit over Earl Goodwin
in the first flight in men’s
play and now plays Joe
Thorud for the crown.

the crown. Dixon beat Joe
Gaino to gain the finals.
