RUSS Revival services are scheduled at Macedonia Baptist Church November 4 through November 11. The services, Monday through Saturday, wi<l ’ s gin at 7:30 o’clock each evening. Veterans Day Observance Set Mayor John A. Mitchen er, Jr., has signed a pro clamation designating No vember 11 as Veterans Day in Edenton. The following proclama tion was issued: Whereas, the men and women who have served in our nation’s armed forces have made a major contri bution to the preservation of America’s freedom; and Whereas, the gallant Am. ericans serving in today’s armed forces continue to demonstrate the unselfish willingness of our nation to meet the challenge of those forces seeking world dom ination through armed con flict; and >*, Whereas, the natron and the free world are eternal ly grateful for the contri butions of American veter ans to the advancement of the cause of an honorable world peace; and Whereas, the Congress of the United States has de clared the 11th day of No vember of each year to be a legal holiday and desig nated it as Veterans Day in honor of our veterans and as a day dedicated to the cause of world peace with honor; Now, Therefore, I, John A.
