Topics at the one-day session included problems of grouping in the school and a panel discussion, “Are We Gaining on Our Problems?” Speakers included Joe Kornegay of Washington, Mrs. E. Merle Scott of Kinston, Mrs. Lorraine King of Jackson, Mrs. Mil dred Pate of Gatesville, Mrs. Ethel Matthews of Washington and Mrs. Mil dred Turlington of Clin ton. Soybean Group Plans Meeting Plans for the second an nual meeting of the North Carolina Soybean Producers Association to be held on January 7 and 8, 1969, at the Memorial Auditorium in Raleigh are now com plete, said Jim Gardner, executive vice president. An all-out effort has been underway for some time by the association and related agribusinesses to make this meeting the most successful of its kind ever held in North Caro lina. Hundreds of pro ducers and agribusiness men are expected to at tend to see and hear au thorities in agriculture from across the nation “tell it like it is,” which is the theme of this most im portant meeting. C., received the Good Conduct Medal November 20 while serving with the 2nd Armored Division at Ft. Hood, Tex. Spec.
