To Mrs. Wood Privott Mrs. Cornelia Privott, , whose activities in cultural projects and matters of historical restoration and -• preservation here are wide t ly known, is Edenton’s l Woman of the Year for 1968. The honor was accorded * her last Thursday night by the Business and Profes ' sional Woman’s Club, who : staged their annual Bosses’ ■ Night banquet at the Rocky Hock Community Building. As the 19th recipient of , the Woman of the Year . award, Mrs. Privott was ; presented the traditional red roses and a plaque and the tribute was height ened by a warm ovation from those in attendance >' at the affair. Miss Edna Snell, BPW president, who made the presentation, cited tremen dous contributions "Miss Cornelia” has made to community. She taught piano for many years and influenced the aesthetic values of numbers of young boys and girls.
