PAGE TWO-A Teenage Honor To Miss Burns Hilda Belinda Burns, Rt. 3, Edenton, has been named Jaycette Teenager of the Month at John A. Holmes FHA NEWS The Mother - Daughter Banquet was held Friday night, May 9, in the John A. Holmes High School cafeteria. The theme this year was “Sing Out for Mothers”. The upcoming FHA members served the delicious dinner which was followed by the entertain ment. With the help of the Chapter’s sponsor, Mrs. Edna Reaves, FHA mem bers presented a skit based on the theme. Miss Linda Turner, the home eco nomics student teacher, di rected the fashion show presented by Home Eco nomics 111. The whole evening was a very pleas ant experience for those who attended.
