Rev. and Mrs. Sherwood Allcox made a trip to Cape Hatteras Tuesday and spent Wednesday there, then they spent Thursday in Norfolk with her moth er, Mrs. Olza Williamson. Mr. and Mrs. Burt White and family of Brentwood, N. J-, Mr. and Mrs- David White of Newport News, Va., Mr. and Mrs. Ken Hopkins of Newport News, Va., were the Saturday and Sunday -guests of Mrs. J. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cox and daughters of Pleasant Gardens were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Graham Williford from Thursday until Sunday. Dail Johnson of Arling ton, Va., spent the week end with Irvin Lee Allcox at the home of his parents, Rev. and Mrs. Sherwood Allcox. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Al len Cowand of Florence, S. C-, and Mr. and Mrs- Jerry Cowand and son, Jay, of Portsmouth, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. Lellie Northcutt of Ahoskie were visitors of S. V. Cowand -and family Sunday and attended the funeral of their aunt, Mrs. Alice White.
