Mrs. Termites Eat Costly Meal Houses, furniture, clothes, books these and other items containing cellulose make a tasty menu for termites, busy right now eating them up at the rate of more than $250 million a year. How does the homeown er find pest treatment to keep these busy creatures from invading homes? Here are suggestions from Orkin Exterminating Company. 1. Select a pest control firm with long-established residence and a reputa tion for reliability. Proper termite inspection takes time and know-how. 2. Call for a free inspec tion. A trained extermi nator will inspect the home and draw up a plan of action based on what he has found. 3. Watch charges. Get competitive bids, for a good idea of what the re quired work should cost.
