The Institute points out that even if you carry proper and adequate automobile insurance, there is no guarantee that the other driver the one who might smash into you does the same. The booklet covers in text and photographs the variety of North Carolina’s flowers and gardens. Included is a Garden Guide which is keyed to the index of cities and towns on the State Highway Map. In preparing the booklet, consideration was given to gardens that could be visited, toured or inspected easily by Tar Heel visitors. A total of 20 color photo graphs illustrate the booklet which is divided into four sections: Wild and Free, Coastal Gardens, Piedmont Gardens, and Mountain Gar dens. The new addition to the state’s travel booklets, en titled “The Flowers and Gar dens of North Carolina,” was produced by Charles Crone Associates of Raleigh.
