The bride-elect is a 1968 graduate of Chowan High School and is presently attending Hardbarger Business College in Raleigh. Mr. Baker, a 1967 graduate of John A. Holmes High School in Edenton, is currently stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Tex. The bridegroom was gradu ated from Tyler Junior Col lege in Tyler, Tex., and at tended East Texas University in Commerce, Tex. Following the ceremony, an informal dinner was held at the Marine Corps Air Station Officers’ Club for the wed ding party. High School. The wedding will be July 26 at the Center Hill Baptist Church at 3 P. M. The trouble with most used cars is just that they have been used. Drive slowly and the prob ability is that you will be driving longer. CANCER CLINIC The Northeastern Cancel Clinic will be held on Friday afternoon, May 1, with regis tration beginning at 12:30 P. M. A chest X-ray will be given to anyone wishing it, along with the examination of the five areas of the body where cancer is most easily found and cured. Only 30 people can be seen at the Center each month, due to limited facilities, so it is sug gested that any one who wishes to be assured of an appointment should write oi call the Cancer Center at the Health Department, Elizabeth City, for a priority.
