Perry was retired from Hughes - Parker Hardware Company. A native of Bertie County, he was bom June 10, 1860, in Bertie County, son of the late William W. and Nettie Out law Perry. He was married to Mrs. Pencie C. Perry, who [survives. Also surviving are three ZBMis: William W. Perry of Greenville, and Murrill T. and Lynn C. Perry, both of Eden ton; one daughter, Mrs. Vir ginia Pacini of Virginia Beach, Va.; three step-sons: Joe and Melvin Copeland, both of Eden ton, and S/Sgt. Bichard Copeland of Ft. Bragg; one step-daughter, Mrs. Faye Tarkington of Rop er; two brothers, Macon and Wesley Perry, both of Cole rain; one sister, Mrs. Dora Copeland of Colerain; 20 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was a member of lEden ton Baptist Church. Fimeral services were held at WO P. M. Friday in Wil liford Memorial Chapel with Rev. Virgil Wilscn in charge. Burial was in Beaver Hill Cemetery. •Williford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
